That’s all for now? I look forward to more. I might be in the minority here but I think the black-and-white/grayscale creates an otherworldly effect. It might be nice to see some color in the future but I think right now the comic stands well in these tones. Sometimes the layered narrative got confused but I was able to navigate. Especially powerful moments in the middle and towards the end. I have many names and places to memorize for the next chapters it seems but I look forward to it!
No, there’s still a bit more to come before this book is told to it’s end, but the hiatus around my relocation grew longer than planned, fed by some general motivational issues, some (ongoing) health trouble, the necessity of earning money … these sorts of things.
Admittedly, seeing not much feedback/interest here decreased the priority of a publishing schedule even further. Anyway, I was thinking about finally drawing the title illustration for “The White Wolf”, the next chapter for quite a while now.
I hereby put it on this week’s schedule, and shall try to re-establish my 2-pages/week cycle.
Love how visceral the first part of this page is. Getting in close for the bloodshed, getting intimate with faces, and the expressions and the pain and the anger. And then you zoom way out to give an overview of the carnage.
I should really point out that angles as a whole is really a strong suit. Simply looks really good.

Oh … hey. 🙂
Thanks for the little nudge.
